You can teach Skillshare classes, start a Shapeways or Etsy store, launch a Kickstarter project, or create something else entirely.</p> </blockquote> <p>What our students learned from their final projects.</p> </blockquote> <p>The intent behind the final project was to teach the students that they could create their own runway; that, in 2012, there are a myriad of ways available to us as individuals to generate cash flow. A recurring cash flow that does not require a substantial time investment to maintain it would give them the means to pursue even more ambitious ideas.</p> <p>Only a few of the projects made their $1000 goal, but I’d still call it a success for everyone. This project made the real world their class room. As such, it introduced a myriad of uncontrollable external challenges that they had to confront. It also pushed them to become more self-aware of their strengths, passions, fears, and flaws, so that they could learn to manage them. I really don’t know how they did it, but they learned to make it all work. Better, they developed the confidence to know they could do it again.
